Our research is focused on gonadotrope function in fish, including the effects of major players like GnRH and dopamine. 

 

 

In our work, we are utilizing a combination of molecular and electrophysiological tools, the latter in close collaboration with the Sand-Haug group at the University of Oslo.

 

As model organisms, we currently use medaka (Oryzias latipes), Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua), and European eel (Anguilla anguilla).
